\nS<\/span>AITO was established in 1991 by founder and CEO Stefano Gallo for the distribution of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries turbochargers in Italy. In 1997 awareness of the company\u2019s strategic position led to the starting of a new collaborative relationship to manage all the logistics aspects of of the supply of Mitsubishi turbochargers for the OEM, where SAITO achieved significant efficiency levels ( minimum level of efficiency 94%)..<\/p>\n

Mahle<\/strong>
\nI<\/span>n April 2017, SAITO became authorized distributor in Italy of Mahle original turbos for the OEM, fitted on various vehicles such as Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Skoda..<\/p>\n

Garrett<\/strong>
\nO<\/span>n November 1, 2017, SAITO became authorized distributor for Italy of Honeywell-Garrett original turbochargers, both new and remanufactured. A crucial, very important brand in the world of turbocharging, Garrett significantly widened the range of products- from light or commercial vehicles to agricultural, marine and industrial turbochargers, thus making SAITO a competitive and very interesting player in the market.<\/p>\n

BorgWarner<\/strong>
\nO<\/span>n May 1, 2018 SAITO was appointed authorized distributor for Italy of BorgWarner original turbochargers. BorgWarner – one of the leading manufacturers of turbochargers and components – is a US company listed on Wall Street. The company has 60 production sites in 18 countries in Europe, Asia and America. The company supplies turbos and components for all major US, European and Asian car manufacturers; besides, many Borg Warner turbochargers are used in the marine industry (inboard engines, jet skis, pleasure boats, etc …) and in the truck and industrial sectors (earth moving machines, generators, etc.).

\nIHI<\/strong>
\nJ<\/span>uly 2020: we are pleased to inform that SAITO has acquired the opportunity to distribute the new, original and homologated turbochargers produced by the Japanese IHI. IHI – Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries<\/strong> – is a historic brand in the history of the turbocharger, just think of the collaboration with Maserati, which led to the development of the biturbo; with Ferrari that saw the entry of the turbo into Formula Uno; with Fiat in the development of the turbocharging of the Punto GT, just to name a few. The Japanese company has been present in Italy for many years: its initial headquarters were settled in Milan and there is still a production plant in Cernusco Lombardone (LC) that is particularly strategic for the central European market. Also for the nautical sector – followed by our subsidiary SAILOG – IHI produces many turbines that we find installed on Yanmar marine engines.<\/p>\n

\nS<\/span>AILOG Srl, SAITO\u2019s business partner, was founded in 2006 to meet the growing demands for engines and engine parts, thus increasing the range of products for European and Asian light vehicles.
