<p>Il motore Diesel, per concetto, gradisce un elevato apporto di aria: infatti, se il rapporto stechiometrico varia a favore dell’aria (entro certi limiti), l’efficienza di combustione migliora e la temperatura in camera di scoppio si riduce. La combustione è generata dall’aumento della temperatura dovuta alla compressione dell’aria e del combustibile, resa possibile dalla presenza dell’ossigeno (comburente) contenuto nell’aria. Dunque, maggiore è l’apporto di aria, migliore sarà la combustione.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>SAITO presenta il kit specifico composto da attuatore, bullone di sostituzione della valvola di sicurezza e manometro da interno per aumentare la pressione di sovralimentazione su Pajero 4D56 / Galloper D4BH.</strong></p>
<p>Il motore Diesel, per concetto, gradisce un elevato apporto di aria: infatti, se il rapporto stechiometrico varia a favore dell’aria (entro certi limiti), l’efficienza di combustione migliora e la temperatura in camera di scoppio si riduce. La combustione è generata dall’aumento della temperatura dovuta alla compressione dell’aria e del combustibile, resa possibile dalla presenza dell’ossigeno (comburente) contenuto nell’aria. Dunque, maggiore è l’apporto di aria, migliore sarà la combustione.</p>
<p>I vecchi motori degli anni ’80/’90, a causa della ridotta conoscenza degli effetti della sovralimentazione, della non eccelsa resistenza dei materiali e delle aerodinamiche ancora poco evolute, venivano sovralimentati a bassa pressione, con valori nel condotto di immissione aria solitamente non superiori a 0.8 bar. Con il progresso tecnico, grazie all’esperienza sul campo e al miglioramento dei turbocompressori, si è osservato che un aumento della pressione di sovralimentazione porta benefici in termini di riduzione dei consumi e di maggiore resistenza degli organi presenti nella camera di scoppio e del sistema di scarico, turbocompressore incluso.</p>
<p>Quando il sistema motore invecchia, il turbocompressore perde leggermente efficienza e l’apporto di aria si riduce, mentre il sistema d’iniezione, per via dell’usura dei componenti, tende ad aumentare la portata del combustibile. Questo squilibrio fa variare il rapporto stechiometrico a favore del combustibile, aumentando il gradiente termico in camera di scoppio. Le prime conseguenze si manifestano con la rottura della testata, che solitamente si crepa nel punto di massimo calore, ovvero tra le due valvole. Seguono la rottura del collettore di scarico e la formazione di criccature interne nel carter turbina. Alla luce di ciò, risulta chiaro che un maggiore apporto d’aria, entro certi limiti, è positivo per la durata di alcuni organi motore e contribuisce a ridurre leggermente il consumo specifico di combustibile.</p>
<p>Nel motore 4D56 montato sul Pajero e suoi derivati (vedi D4BH del Galloper), l’esperienza mostra che una pressione di circa 1.2 bar nel collettore di aspirazione è benefica, ovviamente se il motore è in buone condizioni e non ha perso le tenute dei guida-valvole o tra pistoni e cilindri.</p>
<p>Nel caso si desideri aumentare la pressione di sovralimentazione, è importante ricordare di eliminare la valvola di sicurezza posta sul collettore, ed è consigliabile installare un manometro per monitorare i valori di esercizio.</p>
<p>Per aumentare la pressione, SAITO propone un kit specifico composto da attuatore, bullone di sostituzione della valvola di sicurezza e manometro da interno.</p>
