SAITO proudly present SSP150VGT: a boost kit for Nissan Patrol GR Y60!
Historically Saito has always privileged the use of last generation Waste Gate Turbochargers but recently the company has decided to introduce a new line of VGT Turbo kits based on Garrett turbos. Those new product are meant to wider company’s offer.
The reliability, good performance and low price of the WG Kits continue to remain the workhorse of the company but also for the VGT versions SAITO has decided keep following the same philosophy guaranteeing reliability and performance and low prices. The new kit called SSP150 VGT is very easy to install and requires only a fair knowledge for the reset of the diesel pump. The turbine used is of the latest generation and the mechanical system is much more robust than the now obsolete GT22 routinely adopted to upgrade the turbo diesel engines. Even the aerodynamics is particularly advanced and benefits from reduced moments of inertia and high yields. The turbine, being of last generation and it is originally equipped with an electric actuator system but to facilitate the management SAITO replaces the component with a simpler pneumatic pressure actuator. The performance of the Nissan Patrol is incredible compared to the stock turbo while compared to the SSP150 WG (waste gate) the substantial difference lies in a more linear torque delivery with values slightly higher than the low revolutions and a specific final consumption slightly reduced at the maximum power. The price of the kit is slightly higher than that of the SSG150 WG but allows the company to confirm the great competitiveness of its products also in economic terms.
