SM140 VGT turbo kit for smoother and aggressive off-road driving!
SAITO has made SM140 VGT kit for Mitsubishi 2.5 liters 4d56 and 4d56t engines equipped with mechanical injection pump! The famous and emblazoned engine developed several years ago by Mitsubishi for Pajero, L200, Pajero Sport and Hyundai Galloper has shown excellent reliability, but like other engines from the 90’s has shown lack of power at low revs. The SM140 kit enhances engine response, greatly reducing turbolag and making off-road driving smoother and more aggressive. The quality of the product is guaranteed by the Saito’s over twenty years experience in the tuning world and by the new and genuine Garrett Turbocharger used for SM140. The kit offers an immediate turbo reaction at low rev, an advance in the driving torque, a power increase of 25-30% (depending on the setting of the diesel pump) and a reduction in specific consumption.
SM140 is easy to assemble and is offered at a lower price than the original spare part! Thanks to the supply of all the necessary components, assembly is very simple and can be carried out from any workshop. It is important to know that the variation of the aerodynamics of the turbo allows to insert a greater mass of air but obviously to develop a greater energy it is necessary to restore the ideal stoichiometric ratio (air/fuel), the only supply of air obviously does not allow an increase of the torque and engine power, so the most delicate operation is the reset of the diesel pump that has to be performed by an expert professional WITHOUT intervening on the injection advance, but working only on the adjustment of the LDA system and on the flow adjustment screw general. At the end of the operation the engine must not smoke.
