Historically Saito has always privileged the use of last generation Waste Gate Turbochargers but recently the company has decided to introduce a new line of VGT Turbo kits based on Garrett turbos. Those new product are meant to wider company’s offer.

The reliability, good performance and low price of the WG Kits continue to remain the workhorse of the company but also for the VGT versions SAITO has decided keep following the same philosophy guaranteeing reliability and performance and low prices. The new kit called SSP150 VGT is very easy to install and requires only a fair knowledge for the reset of the diesel pump. The turbine used is of the latest generation and the mechanical system is much more robust than the now obsolete GT22 routinely adopted to upgrade the turbo diesel engines. SSP150: high torque at low engine revs for Nissan Patrol GR 2.8L Y60

SSP150 Kit comes out with an actuator setting at 1.2 Bar and it is able to enhance the power to high values but the real goal is to get a high torque at low engine speeds. The greater air flow processed by the compressor at low revs and the high efficiency of the component, allow to anticipate the value of the driving torque of over 150 rpm, making the driving of the car more performing. The reactivity of the engine increases substantially and the loss of energy, with a consequent need to change gear, occurs at a lower speed than the original turbo. Furthermore it is possible to notice a reduction of specific fuel consumption (gr/CVh) and a drop of the temperature in the combustion chamber (obviously these results depends on the calibration of the diesel pump).

ST200WG Turbo kit dedicated to Toyota 4.2 liters, the real king of the desert!

The primary objective of ST200 is not to increase the maximum power, but to enhance the reaction of the engine at low revs, generating a generous torque curve. The second objective is to reduce specific consumption and the last is to increase turbine and cylinder head reliability. ST200 WG kit is based upon a Mitsubishi TD04HL turbine equipped with a turbine crankcase made of Niresist D5 to increase the resistance to temperatures, a 360° thrust bearing able to stabilize the rotor even in the face of high stress and a system of radial floating bearings that represent the “non plus ultra” in terms of reliability. The complete kit has an absolutely competitive price even compared to the original turbocharger!

ST110-54010 VGT together with the well know ST110-54010 WG (in produsction since 2003) contributes to give to the customers a wider and tailored choice to enhance the driving performance of their LJ70’s. Turbo kit SD300: how to rejuvenate an “old” project still in the hearts of many!

Following the great experience gained in Garrett racing sector’s technical support in the years 1989-91 for Delta Official Abarth competition cars we decided to rejuvenate this project, still alive in the hearts of many.
